Who we are
Aimée, which in French means “loved”, was established in 1961 in the land of the Gonzaga family. In 1983 it became a Inc., the same year in which the business management was assigned to the current CEO’s, Dr.Matthias Kissing and his wife, Mrs. Lucia Zanotti, supported by the lifetime experience of the President, Dr. Rolf Kissing.
The great ascend of Atelier Aimée began in the end of the 1980’s, and today it represents the leading company in Italy for the production of bridal gowns and is present in the most prestigious boutiques throughout the world.
Three collections are presented by Aimée: Atelier Aimée Montenapoleone, Emé di Emé le spose, Pret a Porter di Atelier Aimée Montenapoleone: each is dedicated to a different type of bride with her own distinct characteristics and defined taste, and every year 300 new styles are created and presented to boutiques and press.
The production is entirely Italian and internal to the company, in which 150 people work. Each gown is produced thanks to the craftsmanship and professionalism of tailors that, still today, do finishing touches by hand, and to the Research and Design department, coordinated by the Artistic Director, the designer Lucia Zanotti, who always proposes highly artistic collections inspired by Italian and international Haute Couture.
We believe that every wish, in order to be granted, requires devotion and commitment, characteristics that are dominant in this company, that is conscious of the anxiety and research of perfection that each future bride strives for; everything possible is done with absolute professionalism and availability to create the perfect dress, just think that ten pattern makers work exclusively on the study of the made to measure and custom made gowns to satisfy the needs of every bride.
